Cliff Richard records Cook and Greenaway's High and Dry Click for audio clip. The song is the flip side to Cliff's Eurovision Song Contest entry, Congratulations (Columbia DB8376). It climbs to the top spot in the UK charts (Wednesday 20th March 1968).
The two Rogers announce that David and Jonathan will be splitting up, but will continue their songwriting career together.

Under the name Roger James Cooke, Roger releases Skyline Pigeon penned by Elton John and Bernie Taupin (Columbia DB 8458 Click for audio clip). This is Roger's first release as a solo artist for Columbia Records. (The number is simultaneously released in America on Independence Records (IND-90).
