Ten Storeys High is released by David and Jonathan (Columbia DB8035). The number was composed whilst in America working for Coca Cola, at their 15th storey apartment, on Third Avenue.
David and Jonathan make a trip to Germany to appear on the Beat Club TV show. They perform Ten Storey's High and Lovers Of The World Unite.
The British comedy group The Barron Knights release a single with a medley of hits entitled Under New Management (Columbia DB 8071), which climbs to No.15 in the UK charts. The single contains alternative lyrics to the David & Jonathan hit Lovers Of The World Unite Click for audio clip
The Dutch group Cats , release What A Crazy Life (Imperial IH 709 Click for audio clip) penned by Cook and Greenaway. It was this song that catapulted the group to overnight success and it put them at the top of the Dutch pop charts. They followed this success with a number of hits penned by the two Roger's including Sure He's A Cat (IH 733 Click for audio clip), What Is The World Coming To (IH 759 Click for audio clip) and Turn Around And Start Again (IH 781 Click for audio clip).
David and Jonathan release Scarlet Ribbons (Columbia DB 8167 Click for audio clip) penned by Danzig and Segal and produced by George Martin. The flip-side Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellenbogen By The Sea Click for audio clip was penned by Hoffman and Manning and produced by Mike Vickers Click for video clip
David and Jonathan release their second album The Best Of' (Columbia C 1030 Click for back cover ). Produced by George Martin it is only available in Germany.
