Gary Lewis and the Playboys release Green Grass (Liberty 55880 Click for audio clip). Penned by Cook and Greenaway, it climbs to No.8 in the USA charts Click for video clip
David and Jonathan release Lovers Of The World Unite (Columbia DB7950 Click for back cover Click for audio clip). It climbs to No.2 in the UK charts (7th July). Cook and Greenaway wrote this number whilst on tour with British group, Herman's Hermits Click for video clip
David and Jonathan perform Lovers Of The World Unite on Top of the Pops at the BBC TV studios in London.
20th Century Fox release the cult movie Modesty Blaise co-starring Monica Vitti , Terence Stamp and Dirk Bogarde . Lyrics to the theme song are by Benny Green.
