The Fortunes, release their first American 10 track album on Capitol records (ST 809 Click for back cover ) featuring 7 songs penned by the Rogers with arrangements by Lew Warburton.
Bryan Forbes' movie, The Raging Moon, is released co-starring Malcolm McDowell and Nanette Newman. The main theme song, A Time For Winning Click for audio clip, is  penned by Cook, Greenaway & Macaulay and recorded by Blue Mink. Roger Cook also performs Many Loving Things Click for audio clip  penned with soundtrack composer Stanley Myers (soundtrack Columbia SCX 6447).
Roger Cook releases People I've Got A Dream (Columbia DB 8806 Click for audio clip). The flip-side features Today I Killed A Man I Didn't Know. Both songs are arranged and produced by John Cameron and John Burgess.
